How to Travel Safely during this Period of Pandemic

With the government diluting lockdowns, we expect the fuss about COVID-19 to rise substantially if the countrymen do not stay informed and alert. The urge to step foot off the home-floor would lead people to explore the world more without encountering the potential danger spread in the outside world. The government taking legal actions and issuing guidelines for the aviation industry will ensure that the associated airport authorities and the crew members adopt safety procedures and hygiene practices.

So, if you are willing to travel away from your lockdown boredom, now could be the time you start looking for cheap flights to India.

List of Tips for Travel Safely:

  1. The first and foremost suggestion is to avoid traveling if you are not well.
The virus is well known to develop in a body with compromised immunity, and even if a person is coronavirus positive, it takes fourteen days to incubate inside them, therefore posing a greater risk to the public.
If the authorities observe any symptom, they will not allow the passenger to board and will immediately hand them over to the medical team.
  2. Carry some must-have COVID essentials whenever you leave your places, such as hand sanitizer, facemask, disinfectant wipes, and quality tissues.
These items might be helpful in avoiding the risk by preventing contamination from infected surfaces or any infected substance, and they can also prevent the spread of any such contagious substance, like saliva droplets, by oneself.
  3. While coughing or sneezing, you should cover your face with your elbow or use other effective methods. Wearing facemasks is compulsory.
This action protects fellow travelers from exposure to any infectious possibilities. Also, you should not frequently touch the outside of the mask, but if you do, then wash or sanitize your hands immediately afterward.
When changing to a new mask or disposing of the mask in use, ensure that you disinfect your hands before and after completing the task.
  4. Washing hands regularly ensures safety against getting in contact with the virus.
Medical experts advise washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, if not feasible, then sanitizing them with a hand sanitizer having at least 60% alcohol content.
However, people prefer the primitive technique of disinfecting, i.e., soap and water, to hand sanitizers, which can be harsh on the skin.

Here are some more highly effective precautions:

  1. You are advised to practice good hygiene by avoiding touching your eyes, mouth, or nose with your bare hands. If touched, wash or sanitize your hands immediately.
The virus is known to spread through tiny proportions of mucus or saliva, it could result from coughing or sneezing.
You need to properly cover your mouth while coughing or sneezing to prevent droplets of saliva scatter over the surrounding surface. Sanitize or disinfect your hands right after.
  2. You need to be mindful while using any public equipment, such as ATMs, lifts, service-counters, check-in or check-out equipment, and others, as they might have contamination.
Adopt contactless payment or money transfer options wherever feasible.
  3. It is a strict advisory to avoid public gatherings and have meals in crowded places.
Whenever and wherever possible, try to accomplish your tasks through automation mode rather than coming into contact with a service person.
After completing your work, it is advisable to immediately disinfect or sanitize your hands. You are also encouraged to maintain a standard distance of six feet while in a queue or a crowded section.

Many arrangements are already made by the government and the airport authorities, for those who are willing to book flights from Canada to India.

At the same time, the basic prevention rests on you. Follow the safety tips provided above and be sure of a safe and healthy trip. We wish you a safe and pleasant journey to India!
