In earlier times, there was only one route that everyone had to follow to reach the shrine which demanded a laborious trek for about 13km. As time passed, new routes have opened up eventually. These routes are nothing but shortcuts that help you reach the temple hassle-free.

  • Old Track

In the old days, this was the only route to the temple and was an unpaved path with very few stairs. With time, this path has gone through a makeover, and the roads now are clean and covered with tiles. Other than this, loudspeakers are fixed at intervals that play hymns of the goddess.

Water coolers, toilet facilities, and lightings throughout the track make it easy for the trekkers. The only reason that makes the original path retain its authenticity is various points that testify the visit.

  • New Track

This is an easier route than the previous one and is 500m shorter than the original route. One cannot travel on ponies at this path. This track starts just below Adhkuwari and ends prior to the Bhawan. The added benefit to choosing this path is that here electric vehicles can run smoothly.

  • Tarakote Marg

This route is introduced recently and reduces 13km trek to just 7kms. This route has no steps and has medical units and eateries at intervals. This way allows pilgrims to enjoy the marvels of the scenic view.
