Though the days of impromptu international travel with open-ended visas are long gone and we do sorely miss the freedom to book a fast and cheap USA to India ticket, to impulsively surprise our loved ones, the latest guidelines from CDC are encouraging for the twitchy traveler!!

The identification of the Omicron Variant and the surge in testing globally has resulted in a rise of positive results and COVID 19 cases in light of which the CDC has declared that those traveling to the United Nations of America have to have a negative COVID 19 test report irrespective of the vaccination status of the traveler. This test must be conducted a day prior to the date of travel only.

The Latest rules for International Travellers

The CDC has declared in its new rules that those traveling to the United Nations of America have to have a negative COVID 19 test report. This test must be conducted a day prior to the commencement of the journey. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has mandated that these rules must be followed by all international travelers irrespective of their vaccination.

The tests must be conducted by authorized laboratories as home tests are not accepted.

When you book your India to USA ticket or vice versa, it shall be the responsibility of the airlines to verify all the vaccination and negative rest reports and to collect the personal contact details of every traveler boarding a flight to the USA.

In the event that a person has recovered from COVID 19 and is still testing positive then they can provide verified documents proving that they have recovered in the past 90 days.
