This will be the first ever Durga Puja happening at Times Square, which is the most popular commercial hub of New York. It has played host to many Indian festivals like the Indian Independence Day, the Yoga Day, and Diwali celebrations in the past. However, this time it will be a 3 – day schedule festival that’s free for all. It will be organized by East Coast Durga Puja Association (ECDPA) and Bengali Club of USA.
