This not only satisfies the passenger but also results in smoother functioning.

If you have booked flights with the Emirates, the below information related to online or web check-in will help you.

But first, what is web check-in?

Web Check-in or Online Check-in

As the name suggests, online or web check-in means confirming presence on a particular flight by means of the internet.

For instance, if you have air ticket booking for India, you can check-in a few days before your flight departs. A passenger can log on to the official website of an airline and complete the check-in formalities even before reaching the airport.

This trend is gaining traction as you only have to drop your luggage and proceed. You can steer past the long check-in queues at the airport check-in counter.

Emirates Web Check-In: Step-by-Step Guide

Emirates offers not only some of the best flight deals but also convenient web check-in. All you need to know is the surname of the passenger as on the ticket and PNR. After you have gathered the necessary details, follow the steps below:

  1. Log on to the official Emirates website and locate the web check-in page. Passengers can also search for the Emirates online check-in page on google.
  2. Next, to initiate web check-in, enter the passenger surname and booking reference or PNR as on the e-ticket.
  3. Choose the passengers you want to check-in.
  4. A few countries require Advanced Passenger Information. For instance, if you have booked flights to India, you may have to present passport information before the departure of the inbound flight. Currently, there are about 26 such destination countries that ask for Advanced Passenger Information.
  5. Before completing the online check-in, you will have the option to change seats. Also, you may add any information you have skipped, such as Emirates Skywards number, etc.
  6. Once everything is in place, and you have completed your web check-in, a boarding pass will be issued. You can print it on the spot or save it for later use.

Also, note that you will not receive an eBoarding Pass for selected destinations as they have to verify travel documents before issuing a boarding pass.

Under such circumstances, you can collect the boarding pass from the check-in counter at the airport.

How to Use Emirates E-boarding Pass

eBoarding Pass is given to passengers that check-in online. Also, it is only offered for selected destinations, such as on India flights. eBorading Pass is quite similar to the regular boarding pass.

It contains ticket information such as seating arrangement, flight deals, and sometimes boarding gate number.

After completing the online check-in, you can print the eBoarding Pass. Also, if you are unable to do the same, you can get it printed using the self-check-in kiosks at the Dubai International Airport.

How to Use Emirates Mobile Boarding Pass

If you have an internet connection, you can use the Emirates mobile boarding pass. Emirates offers some of the most popular business class flight deals.

Also, since business travelers are usually always on-the-go, mobile boarding pass facility is useful. You can receive the link for the mobile boarding pass via email or SMS.

Do not worry if you are unable to access the mobile boarding pass. Simple, head to the check-in desk and get a regular boarding pass. In case you have passed the immigration and security check, you can get the boarding pass from your respective boarding gate.

Next, make sure that your mobile phone is active at various checkpoints. These include immigration, security, boarding gate, as well as while boarding the flight.

So, apart from the best flight deals online, you can also carry your Emirates mobile boarding pass.
