Direct Flight to the US from Hyderabad and Bengaluru right from January 2021: Says Air India

Moreover, as per the reports of Air India, they have declared that the direct flight between Hyderabad and Chicago will start from January 9, 2021, which is the first scheduled service between south India and the US.

The Announcement
The Bengaluru airport on Wednesday has announced that Air India will begin the twice-weekly nonstop between Bengaluru and San Francisco from January 11, 2021.
There are widened options for the passengers to travel nonstop between India and the US and therefore the flights are going to begin from Bengaluru and Hyderabad to the US from January.
As per the reports of the press release, Bangalore International Airport Limited has recently announced that Air India will be operating with 238 seater Boeing 777-2000LR aircraft to the US. This will help lots of people to travel at once in COVID, and it is a great move.
On January 11, 2021, at 14000km, this would be Air India’s one of the longest routes and also one of the longest flights that they would be covering to the destination right from India.
Reuniting Families and Resuming Work: Air India’s Journey to the US
All the people who might have been waiting for a long time to return to the US, either for work or to reunite with their families, can now rejoice as their wait is finally over. They can pack their bags and prepare to travel back to the US starting from January 2021. It is advisable to book their tickets in advance and secure their seats for a smooth journey.
Air India has yet not made any formal announcement about the new flights but would do that soon. An airline executive has said somewhere that certain government approvals were pending and reservations were yet to open. United Airlines Joins the Ranks: Bengaluru-San Francisco Route
United Airlines has already announced Bengaluru-San-Francisco flight with Boeing 787-9 aircraft from next May. As per the reports of United spokesperson, this route will be going to the third in the ranking for longest routed operated by all the carriers.
