Wagah Border

Wagah Border is the gateway between India and Pakistan. The separation of India and Pakistan was a decision to separate Hindu and Muslim communities. The partition was quite bloody and disastrous which lead in massive destruction. This is the most volatile border in the world. Where people gather at evening in both the sides to see the lowering of the flags as the border closes for the night.

This is not the check point for the vehicles to cross the country. But, still people from either side can have the clear view. Although there are enormous iron gates still the passion and patriotism of both sides is unstoppable. For foreigners there is a special area to sit. From Indian side you can view the beautiful girls dressed in sarees and dancing on Indian pop music. ‘

There are uniformed border guards on both sides. Guards of both countries try to showcase their power by kicking, stomping and marching. Same activities are continuously undergoing in the other side of Pakistan’s border. Beautiful girls dressed up in the salwar, kameez and carrying a hizaab covering their head.
