There are two types of fares offered by JetBlue:
Non-refundable Fares: The passengers can cancel their reservation before the departure time of the flight via website or by contacting the airline, the concerned balance will be credited to your Jetcredit which can be used in future I.e within a year of the booking date, else you will get your money seized.
Refundable Fares: if the flight get canceled from the PNR before the departure time, only then a full refund is permitted via JetBlue. Flights which are not canceled before schedule departure are not eligible for a refund, where instead the ticket remains in open status for future use.
If one part of the fare refundable and other is non-refundable then the cancellation policies will only apply to the refundable part and the other part’s money will be seized
It is the thumb rule, if you want receive refund, then you must cancel the reservation before the departure. If a passenger falls under the category “no shows” but refundable policy, then the concerned amount be will be credited into their Jetcredit for one year future use.
Complete seizing of the money, no money is refunded.
If your reservation is canceled by the airline for any of the reasons or if you got stuck with fee waiver issue, then you have the option of “rebooking” your flight without any payment under the label ‘Manage flights.’
