Presidents’ Day holds great significance in the American history. It is an extraordinary way to pay tribute to all the great leaders of America. Sen. Steven Wallace Dorsey of Arkansas proposed this day to be a federal holiday in 1879. This petition was signed into law by president Rutherford B. Hayes.
