In case you get your bag late or do not get it then you are requested to contact Air India personnel present in the arrival hall. You’ll have to file a report. For the international routes if you get your luggage late then you will get it after 24 hours with a reimbursed of INR 3000.
In case we couldn’t trace your delayed baggage in 21 days fro the date of report then it is termed as Air India Lost Baggage, which means the passenger can claim for the lost baggage.
In case you get your baggage damaged then you are requested to contact Air India personnel after which your baggage will be examined access the cost of the damage.
The damage doesn’t include stuffs like broken wheels, damage of the items fragile or damage due to over packing.
There are five channels available airing both English and Hindi content. There are certain flights like Boeing 777, 747 and 787 where you can demand in flight entertainment. Also you can get bilingual in flight magazine with the name Shubh Yatra.
It has frequent flyer system called ‘Flying Returns’. this programme is shared by Air India and it’s adjunct.
The Maharaja Lounge is where one get first and business class facilities. This airline also shared lounge with other airlines. Airlines in all holds 8 Maharaja Lounge.
Air India also gives you the facility of online check in through Air India website. You can here easily make a selection of your seat online and can get a print of the boarding pass. For any extra assistance you need to inform Air India in advance.
