Hemis National Park is also known as Hemis High Altitude National Park. It is situated on the high altitude in the eastern region of Ladakh state of Jammu and Kashmir in India. This park has the variety of breeding population of about 200 snow leopard, many other species like Argali (great Tibetan sheep), Bharal (Blue Sheep), Shape (Ladakhi Urial).
